Quick editing transactions
When in the transactions tab, it would be great if all the information available in the transactions table could be edited directly in the table, rather than it opening up a little popup for the transaction. So if I want to change the date, I just click on the date in the table and can select a new date. Or I can just edit the description or the category right in the table view.

this doesn't seem to be complete, most of the table still pops up the modal still. Can't edit things in-place, except category.

Hey Tanner Nilsson, thanks for the suggestion! What information do you most frequently need to update on transactions? Is it dates, descriptions, categories or merchants?

Jason Russell: The most frequent would be category, then description, then date. Could even be nice to have a little split icon next to the amount that would let me get to splitting really quickly. If I'm going through a lot of transactions it would be sooooo much easier to have these right in the table and not have to open each transaction. I'm thinking of importing some historical transactions from mint, and going through that many would feel very tedious without the quick edit ability.

Quick question: Are you aware of the transaction bulk editing feature? You can use transaction search/filtering in combination with the checkboxes to do bulk-edits to edit & categorize similar transactions in one go. Would this help you?

Jason Russell: The bulk editing will be helpful for this initial setup and while importing transactions! For ongoing management it probably will be less applicable.
