View Net amount spent per category

I've not been able to find a way to view the net amount spent on category basis so that if I have both expenses and income associated with that category I can see net value. Ideally this could happen at the budget level so when I budget I can factor in expected income to that budget, though in the transaction view would be useful too, right now it will list the transactions for a category but not display the sum of those transactions.
